We’re thrilled to share that Memory Lane Café was recently shortlisted for the BBC Suffolk Make a Difference Awards! It was an honour to be recognised among so many incredible community projects making a positive impact across Suffolk.

Five of our dedicated volunteers attended the awards evening, where we enjoyed a wonderful buffet meal and listened to inspiring stories from other nominated charities and individuals. Although we didn’t win our category, we were absolutely delighted to receive a commendation trophy — a special acknowledgment of the difference our café makes to those living with memory loss and their carers.

The whole evening was a fantastic celebration of kindness, community, and teamwork. We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together and deeply grateful to everyone who supports Memory Lane Café — from our volunteers to our visitors.
