Our Memory Lane Café group enjoyed a wonderful July outing with a visit to the local Transport Museum. It was a lovely trip down memory lane as we explored the fascinating collection of vintage cars, buses, bikes, and other old vehicles from years gone by.
Everyone enjoyed sharing memories sparked by the exhibits — from stories of first cars and family road trips to remembering the old buses that used to travel through town.
After our look around the museum, we settled down for a well-earned tea and slice of cake, with plenty of laughter and conversation. It was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon out, filled with smiles, nostalgia, and good company.
We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and helped make the day special. Outings like these remind us how important it is to keep connecting, sharing stories, and making new memories together.
